Who

Teachers of any subject

The space is intended for new teachers starting out and for experienced teachers who want to try out new methods. It is also intended for anyone, whether a teacher or not, who has never run a group before, who is unsure how to share knowledge, sense engagement, invite participation, handle conflicts, enforce discipline or monitor progress.

Any leader, coach, scout master, minister, tour guide can benefit from teaching a group. Even a student who has an idea about how they would like to be taught can benefit - they can propose and demonstrate their ideas to a group of teachers - and in the process they may gain a new perspective and deeper understanding of the subject they are learning. For this reason, anyone is allowed to teach a class and experiment with teaching.

Students of any subject

Anyone who either is not enrolled in school or who wishes to supplement their learning in ways their school does not provide can benefit from participating in classes.

Marginalized learners might benefit from unique methods that teachers are experimenting with: Teachers at the beginning of their careers are often spilling over with energy, ideas and creativity. If a student has aversion to traditional classrooms, perhaps here they will find teachers who are willing to experiment with fresh alternatives.

Anyone who wants a social experience, who enjoys learning and participating in activities might benefit. The pandemic, social media, technology and similar modern circumstances are compounding social isolation. Here is a space where people can participate in live social gatherings.
